‘alt annað enn vanligt’ (meaning: everything but normal) is a brand new single as good as made for these crazy times the world has gone through since the beginning of 2020. In the lyrics, 21 year old singer and songwriter, Dania O. Tausen, is reflecting on many of the different feelings in our bodies, that can seem frustrating and hard. For example the feeling of waiting for sickness,
the feeling of losing your fantasy, the feeling of boredom. But inspired by the Ecclesiastes 11:7, that says: “Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun”, she chooses to turn the entire mess into a prayer of thankfulness and to find comfort in the warmth that shows its face every once in a while.

The song is recorded at Benjamin D. Djurhuus’ home studio. Benjamin is Dania’s 19 year old cousin and definitely an up and coming musician and producer in the Faroe Islands. Benjamin played all instruments and produced the song while Hans Poulsen mixed and mastered it at IntroVers studio.
